Due to the “current atmosphere,” Poppy cancels many major European concerts.

“This is not an easy decision to make.”

Due to the “current environment of the globe,” Poppy has stated that the bulk of her planned headline gigs in Europe have been cancelled.
Poppy’s major tour of the UK and Europe, which was originally planned to take place in 2020 in support of her third album “I Disagree,” has been delayed many times because to COVID.

Prior to being forced to move the main European performances from November to December by a support slot with The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction, it was earlier this year confirmed to go ahead in November.
On Friday, November 4, Poppy said that the bulk of those performances will now be cancelled.

“After carefully weighing our choices, we have decided to postpone a few Never Find My Place tour dates in Europe. This was not an easy decision to make because it is almost impossible for us Americans to travel to much of Europe given the current state of the globe and the challenges it poses to touring musicians, according to Poppy.

You will receive refunds from the place where you made the transaction. I apologise for the inconvenience, but I am unable to change the situation. Everyone who knows me is aware of how much I love performing and seeing you. Here’s to a brand-new ’23!” she concluded.
Poppy later announced that the tour’s UK leg and a special headline performance in Amsterdam on December 2, 2022, will still go on as planned.

It happens in the wake of previous tour cancellations by artists like Animal Collective, Santigold, and SOHN because of the post-pandemic environment.

After performing at the Reading & Leeds Festivals in September of last year, Poppy announced the release of her new EP, “Stagger.”

The four tracks on the EP, which was published last month, each represent a little stage in Poppy’s life, she explained in an interview with NME. It’s taken a while for the songs I composed in December of last year to be released, but I’m pretty happy about it now.
